There are many components to consider when creating a good program:
- Story line/character
- Music/editing/possible sound effects
- The skater’s strengths. Are they a pretty, elegant skater? Or are they strong, entertaining, and lean more to the theatrical side?
Only by being able to see the complete picture can a skater come up with a great program. I have been fortunate to work with top choreographers throughout my career (J. Scott Driscol and Simone Grigorescu to name a few) and choreograph for top skaters like Mike Weiss and Scott Hamilton.
