Dad's Birthday and the Fashion Show

Last weekend’s guest skaters were Boitano and Czisny.  Wow, the audience was amazing!  I’m totally excited because there is the lovely lady who made Craig Heath a t-shirt that had a caricature on it that looked amazing!  She told me that she would do one for me...can’t wait!  So this week I had my father come in for this big birthday, and my uncle Harvey came out to surprise him.  (you can see some of the photo’s in the SV 2008 section)  We had a blast from skating coffee club, to shooting trap, and white water rafting.  On Tuesday the Sun Valley FSC always puts on a fashion show to raise money.  I was asked to choreograph the adult number which is everyone in the coffee club.  I had a blast doing it, and was SOOO happy when I got Marie Matthews out on the ice with me.  Last year she came out with me as I pushed her along in a chair.  WELL...after a quick hip replacement, I was so proud of her to come out and skate with me through the routine.  She just had a birthday in which I was invited to the amazing party!  elegant, and feel really bad I didn’t get a chance to dance with her because I got all caught up in chatting with all the guests...sorry Marie!  The food was AMAZING!!!Not to mention her 2 granddaughters who sang her this song that made us all want to cry (and smile) at the same time!  Some song that sings how great she is by going through the alphabet.  Her husband’s toast to her was so eloquent, that again there couldn’t have been a dry eye in the audience!
