IL and CT Whirlwind

Saturday came with an early flight out to Evan Lysacheck’s fundraising show.  The well prepared mac man that I am was able to step up to the plate on the flight when Brooke and Ben’s music was forgottenand had to be sucked off her iPod.  However, not even the mighty mac could fix Jen Robinson’s cd with a chunk taken out of it.  Luckily there was no cuts and Shae had the song on her iPod, which my newly converted mac buddy Ben Agosto took care of.  Well, no, wait, I think that was Ryan Bradley who did that, but he still isn’t a mac buddy yet.

The show went pretty well, and Richard Simmons was a bit rough in my opinion, but sweated to the oldies none the less.  Ben and Tannith skated to my new favorite dance routine, “Falling Slowly” beating out Victor and Shae’s routine to, “Can’t Cry Hard Enough.”

After signing autographs in our skates from 10:15pmish to 11:30pmish, we drove back to the hotel where I packed and crawled into bed.  4a.m. saw me on a shuttle to the airport, getting me into CT for a taping of a pilot for a tv show.  This one had both Doubtfire and Richard Simmons in a shorter version.  It went really well and I hope it ends up getting picked up by a network.  I won’t go into any more detail because I’m sure there are other people trying to make similar shows out there.  But if it does get picked up, you darn well know I’ll keep you posted!!!!

OK, a week off and then Jimmy Fund in Boston.

Be well,

Dan
