Recap from Mike Weiss's show

Wow!  I had a BLAST this year at his show.  It has grown so much since I have participated in it three years ago.  I flew in with Yuka Sato from Detroit and was picked up by Mike, in which Todd showed up at the same time too from Florida.

All the skater’s stay at Mike's house and have a great time.  A big supporter of the foundation is Nick Castaneda.  He use to skate and was on the international team with me at St. Gervais, France and Oberstdorf, Germany.

At first we played Horse on the sport court and happily I came in second to Todd putting out Nick in both games.  Yes the 5’2” dude took out the tall man, which was totally worth my $40.  Then all the skaters went to the TD bank for a VIP reception which had good food and cool people.

The show went well, and they raised a ton of cash.  The best part of his foundation is the percentage given back to the skaters...nearly 100% (well maybe the entire 100%, have to ask).  Most other foundations don't even come close.  You can view pictures from the weekend here:  http://danhollander.com/photos/?album=1&gallery=7
