Web interview

While in Sun Valley I did a phone interview which is posted here to listen:

It is close to an hour (not sure who wants to listen to me talking that long!) and I was very frank with some issues that skaters cannot be while competing. An example would be the short program I was beat in skate Japan with the skater scoring 5.8 in. 6.0 system that required a full .5 deduction for a missed element. At least back then it was obvious when there was blantant misjudging. Of course when asked by the press we are trained to give the standard answer, "I was happy with how I skated and look forward to the long."

Well, I'm no longer competing and there you have my honest opinions about my career and this crazy sport I'm involved in.

Be well,

Dan
